Merrihill Valentino (First Generation) (50/50) DOB: April 21, 2004 MDGA XL00756 OK, so it takes a discerning eye to see the beauty in an unclipped buck in rut. Valentino is a very long, dairy, F1 buckskin with elf ears, strong feet and legs, and a cavernous escutcheon area.  You can click on either picture for a closer look.  Valentino consistently throws refined kids with that same remarkably high and open escutcheon area, strong feet and legs, and excellent width between the hocks.  To see what that escutcheon area looks like with an udder in it, check out Shine, Valentino's first daughter to freshen.  I hope all his daughters turn out just like that!

Miscellaneous SPL's Emali (Sadie) DOB: March 26, 2002 ADGA L1242799 I wasn't really looking for a dry yearling last spring, but as soon as I laid eyes on Sadie, I knew I had to have her!  She is a long-bodied doe with tremendous body capacity, a ruler-straight topline and a long, level rump.  Her first-freshener udder is all I could ask for - it's capacious and very snugly attached, high and wide in the rear, with plumb teats and a very smooth, well extended foreudder.  Pretty much perfect, and at 8 weeks fresh, she's milking over 9 pounds!  To top it all off, Sadie's grand-dam is my all-time favorite Lamancha doe, MCH Windstar Notta Shy Anne 2*M (LA 90 VEEE, 3rd 99 nats, 2x top ten)!   Update:  Sadie had a beautiful Mini-Mancha doeling, which I will retain.  In keeping with my goal of milking Mini dairy goats, and because I am drowning in milk, I have decided to offer Sadie for sale!  Sadie has been sold! Thank you Mary! (Her udder is mostly empty in this full body shot.)

Comanche-Land Pico DOB: February 26, 1997 ADGA AB1037508 (Pictured at 5 years old) Pico is an unusually gentle, people-oriented doe with a capacious udder and a remarkably long, level lactation.  Beginning in May, 2000, she milked through 22 months before being dried off to kid again in May 2002.  She presented us with twin doelings in both 2000 and 2002, and triplet doelings in 2003.  Pico has retired, but she is my herd queen and goat ambassador, and will remain here at Glimmercroft.  My sweet Pico passed away in the fall of 2009.  She is missed.
