Sweetbrier Ridge Captain Morgan (Second Generation)68.25% Lamancha with Gopher earsDOB: March 2, 2007 MDGA XL01130 Finally, finally, I have some decent pictures of this gorgeous boy. Check out the beautiful angulation, lovely straight and wide rear legs, height and arch of the escutcheon, looong hip, strong topline, refined dairy neck, and the general elegance this boy projects. A very pretty boy, don't you think? Morgan consistently produces offspring that mirror his elegant style, and he backs it up with performance. Morgan has had a large number of daughters freshen, and with outstanding udder and production genetics from both his dam and his paternal granddam, it's no surprise that in every instance, he has improved on the dam's udder, production, and general appearance. His daughter Rose is a fine example. As an extra bonus, Morgan makes some of the sweetest, calmest babies around. Please click on either picture for a larger version.

Glimmercroft Bosco (Third Generation)60% Lamancha with Gopher earsDOB: July 18, 2009 MDGA AML01348 (American) Bosco brings together all the best of my lines - Celeste, Jack, Selena, and Snowman. His dam, Raia, freshened with a lovely udder and soft, milkable teats that are of a very good size. Bosco is a pretty tricolor with lots of roaning. (We'll get a picture up in the spring.) He has a strong topline and sharp shoulders, a long, level rump, and great width in the rear. We hope for great things from this boy! |
